After the exporter ships the goods, the money is directly transferred to the importer's account through the bank.
Letter of Credit (L/C)
Issued by the importer's bank, payment is made to the exporter upon submission of qualifying documents.
Documents against Payment (D/P)
The exporter obtains the right to pick up the goods after paying the importer through the bank.
Documents against payment (D/A)
The importer does not need to pay the money and can accept and deliver the documents within the deadline, delaying payment.
